Timberline students have their own schedules to manage their lives. Myana Whitelock is a junior, who works hard in school and plays soccer, while managing her social life. She hopes to go into the medical field in college, so she pays a lot of attention in school. Here is a glimpse into Whitelock’s daily routine.
The first alarm goes off at around 6:20, and Whitelock presses snooze until 6:30. The long awaited day has just begun. Whitelock grabs random clothes, usually being leggings, a T-shirt, and sneakers. She starts her day with a spinach and berry smoothie and goes on to brush her teeth. Afterwards, it’s hair time.
Whitelock leaves at 7:10am for school. Her first class is physics, her favorite class because she finds it fascinating. Second, she has nutritional wellness. Third, AP stats. Whitelock’s strengths in school are math and science. Lunch is next, and she usually goes out to grab coffee and a sandwich. She proceeds with English class, where she learns about grammar and vocabulary. Then, she works on her third year of German. She ends her school day with history.
After school, Whitelock likes to hangout with her boyfriend or friends. She enjoys going out to eat at Meconi’s, or anywhere else she and her friends want to go. On Monday’s, Wednesday’s, and Thursday’s she has soccer at 5:30 for Black Hills Football Club. Her favorite part of playing soccer is getting the exercise and making friends.
To finish off the day, Whitelock enjoys dinner and completes any homework that needs to be accomplished.
