It’s the second day of school and teachers are finishing up the “how the class works” talks and are starting to dive into the new school year with essays, worksheets and homework. Now is the time to hop on the right track to get good grades.
Staying organized is a key component to kick off the school year in the right direction. One easy way to stay organized is keeping a planner. A planner can help keep track of upcoming events and assignments so it is easy to see what is and is not completed.
Along with being organized, it is important to be up and ready to learn. Getting a good night’s sleep and a good breakfast helps provide plenty of energy for the rest of the day.
It is also very important to work hard and study. Some tips for better studying are to take notes, find a distraction-free study location, study with a group, and set time aside just for studying.
This year, set goals to make a study group for that math test, or maybe try simply taking more notes in English class. These small changes can make a big difference in grades.
